Paul Quinn College (PQC) is one of the most innovative colleges in America. Challenging the status quo at every turn, Paul Quinn College was founded by the African Methodist Episcopal Church during a time when the fate of formerly enslaved people hung in the balance. Today, its work is even more necessary than when it opened its doors in the basement of Metropolitan A.M.E. Church in Austin, Texas on April 4, 1872.

The mission of Paul Quinn College is to provide a quality, faith-based education that addresses the academic, social, and Christian development of students and prepares them to be servant leaders and agents of change in the global marketplace.
